Arctica Obscura by Claudia Ziegler
A two months journey into the Arctic summer on the icebreaker ‘Polarstern’ of the Alfred-Wegener Institut. It is the most important tool in Germany's polar research program. The ship is equipped for biological, geological, geophysical, glaciological, chemical, oceanographic and meteorological research, and contains nine research laboratories.
