Recently an international train from St.Petersburg to Odessa has arrived. Some merchants suddenly appear on the platform. They sell toys of different size and kinds. The following question arises: does salary in the local fur production factory is paid in production items? It's not. In the very beginning of 90-ties, when belarusians made a way from planned economy to market economy, monthly salaries were just for pessimism. Personnel of the Factory of Artificial Fur production chose an items of production instead of job salary, in order to sell themselves, what they have produced. This was a way to obtain a financial means for survival. Nowadays it is called ôeconomical traditionö. Thousands of people sew soft toys in Zhlobin town outskirts. There are small enterprises, however the main activities are performed by illegal comerce. The main part of toys produced is sold in a special marketplace, that starts working in 3.00 a.m. Local wholesale traders and those, having come from abroad, purchase rolls of fur or production in a preparation stage. Factory of Artificial Fur production of Zhlobin town practically doesn't produce a soft toys. They have a production workshop, organized by themselves, that is small and works only for advert purposes. At the time being, stock company "BELFA" is the very best enterprise of light industry in the whole Belarus. This is the biggest factory of artificial fur production in Europe. Last year this enterprise produced 19,3 million square meters of the product, while China did about 8 million. The top managers of the enterprise keep hoping to popularize clothes made from their own produced artificial fur. However now factory is forced to produce artificial fur for soft toys. In 25 years factory has produced artificial fur enough to cover a way to Moon and tie the Earth arround the equator.
