The New EU Border - Over the Fence by Dana Popa
The European Union family, recently enlarged with Romania and Bulgaria, runs its new frontier through the middle of one village, spreading it in two halves. The old Sculeni is shared between Moldova (Romania) and Moldova (an ex Soviet statelet). It stays exactly the same frontier which separated the USSR from the rest of the Europe. The inhabitants significantly call the two halves of the village Romanian Sculeni and Russian Sculeni.
