Gay culture in conservative Poland is quite hidden. However there are some places – mostly night clubs – where it flourishes. Drag Queen Glammy Award is a contest for the best performance of drag queens (men in women disguise) organised by one of Poznan night clubs. This is one of the shy attempts to make it gay life more vivid. Big number of drag queens in one night is also a way to attract more clients to the club.
